Evan Jacobs is a Senior majoring in Computer Science at California State University Channel Islands and is graduating in Fall 2022. He is minoring in Mathematics, Cybersecurity and Information Technology. Evan transferred to CI after attending Ventura College and University of California San Diego where he partially completed an Electrical Engineering bachelor's degree.

While attending CI, Evan began working in Spring 2022 as a Student Assistant Data Analyst at CI in the Department of Academic Affairs Data Analytics where he uses SQL to query databases and build the public and private Tableau dashboards for the University. Prior to this position, Evan also worked as a tutor at CI for lower division Computer Science courses. He also was a machinist at TMJ Concepts where he managed the on-site IT department, was temporarily a Case Manager, and operated both CNC and manual mills and lathes in the manufacturing of TMJ total joint replacement prostheses. Evan has also interned through University of California Santa Barbara in their PIPELINES program with Naval Base Port Hueneme under NAVSEA where his team developed, demonstrated, and presented both to the public and base leadership on cracking Navy strength passwords and USB security.
